AGH! this week was THE most stressful week of my life. My violin teacher, Brother Ashton, had asked me to learn Bach's partita no. 3 prelude in a week and have it memorized.  Here is a video so you can see why I stressed so much!

But thankfully God loves me because Brother Ashton called me and said that we weren't having lessons that day because he was sick with a chest cold. Can you say RELIEF? so yes, my day was ultimately better knowing that I had another week to learn it. Today is 11/11/11 and tonight at 11:11 whilst watching Harry potter 7.1 and 7.2 me and my roommate Catherine are going to make the BIGGEST. WISH. OF ALL. TIME. we are going to make butter beer and chocolate covered oreos... we are going all out for tonight. That's how all the cool college kids roll. I changed my major last week to Neuroscience. Every single person that I have told had the same reaction: "wow, that's a big change" Yeah... i know. But I am so sure about this switch. Neuroscience major with a minor in Music. :) I'm excited. Well the wait to change my major was extremely long. I waited for two hours. Summed up, I ended up making friends and we had a competition to see who could make the best paper airplane and see if you could stand at one end of the hallway and try and throw the paper airplane down the hallway into the recycling bin. I guess fun follows me ;)

But other than that, my week has been pretty normal. just busy with homework and practicing and such. I must go study for a math test so until next week!

October... :)

Ah college... how I lovest thee. This month has been a fun one :). Lillie Covington thought it would be awesome to come up and surprise me for the weekend! Best. Weekend. Ever. It was really nice being able to hang out with her again! Even if it was only for 3 days. It was like we had never been apart at all. Which is interesting :) I was able to Skype with Sarah Adams also! ah! How I miss both of these girls! They are my best friends. And not the kind that you had when you were 5. The real deal right her'. Also, me and my roommates and a bunch of friends went to a pumpkin patch and we carved pumpkins! It was so much fun! Somehow we were able to carve our pumpkins with steak knives... and they turned out looking like actual carved pumpkins. Not like some abstract art that someone tried to make.

Other than hanging out with friends and being awkward, I like to spend my time in the Snow building! yes, that is my second home. For symphony, we just had our SIX, yes SIX, Halloween concerts in three days. It was an intense three days. BUT they were all complete successes! The theme was Idaho Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Art. ha ha. clever music people. Brother Tueller had a whip and it was pretty scary at times. Now that Halloween is over, onto CHRISTMAS! we are playing the Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky. It was super fun to sightread today in Symphony rehearsal. It shall be challenging! I've been sick all day today so focusing has been pretty rough. While everyone else is out partying and having fun, I am in my apartment. alone. It's very sad. and really quiet. oh well. It's a sacrifice I will make :) Well this all that has really happened.... and i need to do my laundry!
 until next time!
